Terra is powered by AI and may occasionally produce inaccurate, incomplete, or outdated information. Always verify critical data — such as disease diagnoses, treatment recommendations, and financial figures — against trusted sources before acting on them. Terra is a tool to assist your decision-making, not replace your professional judgement.
What Is Terra?
Terra is Agriline's built-in AI copilot — a conversational assistant that lives on every page of the platform. You can interact with Terra by typing in the chat panel or by speaking using the microphone button. Terra understands natural language, so you can ask questions, give commands, and request information the same way you would talk to a knowledgeable colleague.
Terra is available in two modes: a public mode for visitors browsing the Agriline website (text-only, general questions), and a full dashboard mode for logged-in users with access to voice input, farm data analysis, email reports, guided tours, and hands-free navigation.
Text Mode
Always available. Type your question or command in the chat panel and Terra responds instantly.
Voice Mode
Click the microphone button to speak. Terra transcribes your speech and can reply aloud with a natural voice.
How to Enable Terra
Terra is enable by default for new accounts. To activate it, follow these steps:
Log in to Agriline
You need an Agriline account to access Terra's full features. Register for free if you haven't already.
Go to Terra Settings
From your dashboard sidebar, navigate to Settings → Enable Terra (AI).
Toggle Terra On
Flip the Enable Terra switch. This activates the "Chat with Terra" launcher across Agriline.
Configure Permissions
Optionally enable Voice Input, Voice Output, Farm Data Access, and Email Reports depending on which features you want.
Save Settings
Click Save Terra Settings. The "Chat with Terra" button appears immediately.
What Terra Can Do
Voice & Text Navigation
Tell Terra where you want to go and Terra navigates you there instantly — no clicks needed. This works for every dashboard section and every public page on Agriline.
Farm Data Insights
When you grant Terra Farm Data Access in settings, Terra can read your crop plans, farm activities, resource inventory, support tickets, crop notes, AI disease scans, and selected profile details to give you personalised analysis, trends, alerts, summaries, and report-ready insights. Terra never modifies your data — read access only.
Terra can calculate totals, recent activity, weekly trends, disease breakdowns, confidence patterns, low-stock alerts, upcoming harvests, irrigation method usage, support status, note summaries, farm health scoring, and data completeness across your account.
What Terra Can Answer From Your Data
How many scans you have uploaded, what diseases have appeared, which ones are recurring, confidence levels, severity breakdowns, recent scan results, and which crops are most affected.
How many crop plans you have, which crops are planned most often, what fields are in use, upcoming harvests, and which irrigation methods you are using.
How active you have been recently, what work you do most often, which crops have the most activity, and whether activity is increasing or slowing down week to week.
What items you have, which categories are stocked, what is low or out of stock, overall quantities, and where shortages may need attention.
How many support tickets you have, which are still awaiting replies, ticket status breakdowns, how many crop notes you have, and what your latest note contains.
Your farm health score, health grade, most problematic crops, summary counts across your account, and how complete your data is across different Agriline sections.
Guided App Tour
Ask Terra for a tour and Terra walks you through every section of Agriline, explaining what each feature does and how to use it. The tour includes Dashboard Overview, Farm Management, AI Disease Detection, Crop Planner, Weather, Resource Management, Community Forum, Direct Messaging, Support, Ticket History, General Settings, and Terra Settings. You can stop the tour at any time.
Page Explainer & Tutorials
Ask Terra to explain any page or feature and Terra gives you a clear, step-by-step walkthrough in natural language. Terra can also navigate you to that section simultaneously so you can follow along.
Agronomy Advice
Terra can answer general farming questions about crop diseases, planting schedules, soil management, pest control, and Caribbean-specific agricultural practices. Terra draws from her training knowledge to provide actionable guidance.
Email Reports & Reminders
Terra can email you professional reports generated from your farm data. Terra can also send you reminders and schedule recurring emails on any frequency — daily, weekly, monthly, or custom intervals. Email Reports require both Farm Data Access and Email Reports to be enabled in Terra Settings.

Accuracy & Limitations
AI Can Make Errors
Terra is powered by a language model and may produce incorrect, misleading, or fabricated information. This includes disease identifications, treatment advice, planting recommendations, and data summaries. Always double-check Terra's responses against reliable sources — especially for decisions that affect crop health, finances, or safety.
Not a Replacement for Professional Advice
Terra provides general guidance based on AI training data. For serious pest outbreaks, soil analysis, chemical applications, or legal/financial farming decisions, consult a qualified agronomist, extension officer, or professional advisor.
Data Scope
Terra can only read data you have entered into Agriline. If your crop plans, activities, or inventory records are incomplete, Terra's insights will be based on partial information. The more complete your records, the better Terra's analysis.
Voice Recognition
Speech-to-text transcription works best in quiet environments with clear speech. Background noise, strong accents, or very short audio clips may produce inaccurate transcriptions. You can always use text input as a reliable alternative.
Email Reports
Email reports reflect data at the time they are generated. Scheduled reports pull fresh data on each send, but the AI's analysis text in custom reports is fixed at the time of scheduling. Verify figures in reports before sharing them with third parties.
Language Support
Terra is optimised for English and Jamaican Patois. Terra can understand and respond in Patois if you speak or type in Patois. Other languages may work but are not officially supported and may produce lower quality responses.
